Progression ischemic stroke is a brain stroke seriously threatening the life of patients
and affecting clinical prognosis．It is one the main reasons leading to death and disability of patients suffering
from cerebral infarction．At present， the exact pathogenesis of progression ischemic stroke is not
made clear totally; besides， there is no preferred guidance concerning relevant hazardous elements as
well as how to prevent and treat it，which brings great difficulties on clinical diagnosis．In the paper， the
author summarizes the pathogenesis and hazardous elements of progression ischemic stroke，which can
be taken for reference on how to prevent cerebral infarction clinically．
