王居易教授作为北京市名老中医,生前致力于国内外针灸临床和教学数十载,倡导经络辨证,创建了中医“经络医学”体系,总结归纳出“审切循扪按”经络诊察方法,并在针灸临床中推广使用,一方面提高了临床疗效,另一方面也培养了大量的中医学子。后顶穴为王教授临床常用腧穴之一,其定位独特,方法上更提出“搓针导气法”,在眩晕、颈胸腰背骶尾及下肢后侧疼痛、癫痫等疾患中效果显著。

Houding point is one of the commonly used acupoints in Professor Wang"s clinical practice. Its location is unique, and the method of “rubbing needle to guide qi” is proposed. It has remarkable effects in vertigo, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, dorsal, sacrococcygeal tail and lower limb pain, epilepsy and other diseases.
